the Osiris shaft the watery grave or island of Osiris. Lastly there are connections suggesting the Mayas had a similar cosmography of a watery underworld of the zodiac, by building Chichen Itza El Castillo, over a cenote. I posted a few posts on this on my X profile @StijnvdHoven. This Cenote has never been accessed as far as I am aware and is of great interest archeologically possibly containing vast treasure and/or a royal interment. But more importantly it shares cosmographical zodiac beliefs with Egypt and the Greeks of a “watery underworld” in relation to the zodiac.

I belief that there are shared astronomical beliefs as I wrote in my Medusa Artemis paper where I explain why Medusa is in watery cistern under the basilica. The old basilica or above the cistern, now destroyed, represents also the cross of the sky just as El Castillo so in symbolism these two structures are more similar than one would initially assume. Hagia Sophia is the new church which sits 150m away.
