Not just the Bible or the Quran, but many cultures share the concept of creation of humans from clay, but, not by 1 deity such as Jaweh or Allah, but by two. It will give further evidence these books are syncretized versions of older stories, which is astronomical in nature.

Egypt: Khnum and Heqet
Greece: Prometheus and Athena (interestingly not Hecate, but it was definetly Hecate with her tree heads as moongodess who linked to Ninmah)
Sumeria: Enki and Ninmah
China: Fuxi and Nuwa (The origin of the masonic square and compass)
The interesting part is that Heqet was not reused as Hecate but as Athena. The mesopotamian mother goddess was Ninmah who was paired with Enki. (This later becomes interesting as unlike christianity where 1 god was responsible for creation of humans and sending the flood in mesopotamia it were two distinct different deities (Enlil and Enki), which is a major red flag in the biblical version. Also the fact that a god and a goddess was responsible for human creation not 1 single god. This clearly shows the discrepancies of the biblical narrative which is syncretized from earlier stories, old wine in new flasks.)
Ninmah (“Great Queen”) is a prominent Sumerian mother goddess of fertility, birth, and creation, closely identified with Ninhursag, Nintur, and Mamma. She is a vital Mesopotamian deity responsible for molding humanity alongside Enki. As a creator deity, she played a key role in shaping mortal life and served as a nurturing mother figure in the pantheon.
The author proposes these two deities in history as personifications of the Sun and the moon, but its slightly more complicated as they are also certain constellations in a rotational story of the seasons and recreation. From the Greeks (Prometheus) to the Chinese (Fuxi and Nuwa) and Egyptians (Khnum) long before this metaphore was syncretized in the much later bible and Quran where the secondary goddess, the moon, was dropped from the narrative. One could argue that Christianity followed the sun and Islam the moon. The square and compass was the origin of the freemason square and compass.

What is truly ment by this is that its a metaphore. The potterwheel is the turning skies.
The earth is the clay. Or the silt left after the flood. As humans get born, they metaphorically get created from the clay on the potterwheel of time.
Eventualy they “return to dust” as they are burried and absorbed by the earth again in a continuous cycle of re-creation.
Kronos (Bootes), personification of time, “ate his own offspring”. Note the 3 stars of Orion in the painting of Rubens, the timekeeper/Hourglass constellation. The kirtimuka on asian temples “devours itself”. These are not “brutal images” or ment to be taken literally. All these are metaphores for creation eternally “devouring itself” the earth is re-created and repopulated all the time.
