The figure that people are most afraid of, the Baphomet. For many seen as a “form of Satan” . Now Satan was just a goat man and not a RAM man. These two have been confused when the church tried to demonize the ram headed creator god. Capricorn was winter indeed and that was Satan, but the Baphomet image is different. This future article aims to look into “the symbolism of the devil” and evil in general as the snake or “evil god in the underworld” with origins in the god Nergal and the snake as Hydra and what Eliphas Levi might have meant with this particular image.
